     It was a typical day in some small-unnamed American city, lets call
it Rima, NE. Rerun was kneeling in order to show respect to his older
sister Lucy. He straightened his cute little coveralls and waited
patiently until Lucy finished reading her tabloid. The headline of this
issue read: 'Horny Pig Sleeps with Violent Tomboy! Pictures inside!'

     As Lucy closed the tabloid, Rerun asked, "Was I cute when I was a
baby?"

     "Not at all," Lucy replied. She got up and started to walk away
from her brother.

     Rerun looked at the retreating back of his sister.

     "Actually," Lucy said suddenly, then declared, "you were un-cute."

     Rerun thought about this for a few seconds then pulled a mallet out
of the gap between the panels of the comic strip. "So what if I'm not
cute!" he screamed as if possessed. He ran after his sister with the
mallet raised menacingly above his head.

     Lucy heard his scream and turned around. She saw the mallet right
before it impacted against her face. Lucy fell to the ground and
clutched her head in pain.

     Rerun snarled at Lucy then walked over to her crumpled form. "Lucy
no baka!!" he screamed, then stormed out of the room.

     "Yup, very un-cute," Lucy muttered, then passed out.

Author's notes/ramblings:

If you didn't see the Peanuts strip on August 21, 1998, then this
probably didn't make much sense, but in that strip Lucy calls Rerun
un-cute. I'm not sure if this is a reference to Ranma 1/2 or not. I'd
say no, except that the book/magazine Lucy was looking at had a little
pig on it. Could it be that Charles Shultz is a closet Ranma fan?

Anyway, just figured I'd whip this thing up. Enjoy it. Just don't ask me
to make it into a ongoing series. :)
